Celebrating Welsh Music

St David's Day Concert 

 

The Palestrina Singers of Cardiff University join forces with Cardiff University Male Voice Choir to celebrate Welsh music. Alongside these two choirs, we are delighted to have renowned welsh soprano Gail Pearson alumni of Cardiff university school of music. The programme will explore choral and vocal repertoire from traditional welsh folk tunes to contemporaries such as Ivor Novello, William Mathias, Mervyn Burtch, Paul Mealor and Geraint Lewis.

 

It is a delight and a privilege for us to sing such wonderful music from the main university of Wales in the heart of the capital city.
