Hail, Star of the Sea Most Radiant

Friday 9 December 2016

In the run up to Christmas, The Palestrina Singers present a magical mix of music from across the ages. Based around Spanish Renaissance master Victoria's 'Missa O magnum mysterium', the choir will also sing favourite pieces by Tallis, Byrd, Brahms, Bruckner, Whitacre, Darke and Britten. Joining the choir will be Bristol-based actor Harry Benfield who will read a selection of seasonal stories and poems. Traditional refreshments will be served. Please do join us for a wonderful evening to get you in to the festive spirit!

New Term, New Choir...

Following a highly successful series of auditions, our new conductor William Stevens is pleased to introduce you to the Palestrina Singers of 2016/17. We have an exciting year ahead and cannot wait to get started!
